Welcome to the Georgetown Men's Water Polo team website.
Men's Water Polo is a Club Sport at Georgetown with the regular season and playoffs being held in the fall semester. In the spring semester, there is one invitational tournament. The team practices Sunday nights and Wednesday nights at Yates field house. In addition, the team scrimmages a local Men's Recreational team on Tuesday nights in the fall, and has a shoot-around on Friday afternoons.
The team finished 5th in the Atlantic Division Championships in the Fall of 2007 after taking eventual champion Virginia Tech to overtime in the semifinals. With a majority of the players returning for the 2008 season, the team expects a better finish in the coming season.
