A Discussion on human rights with Congressman Jim McGovern

Where: Fisher Colloquium, McDonough School of Business Rafik B. Hariri Building
SSTOP (Students Stopping the Trafficking of People), THiNK (Truth and Human Rights in North Korea) and STAND (A Student Anti-Genocide Network) are hosting the biggest human rights event of the year! Come listen to Congressman Jim McGovern (D-MA) speak about human rights issues and his role as Co-Chair of the Tom Lantos Human Rights Commission. Students will also have the opportunity to learn more about the many human rights groups on-campus and how to get involved in Georgetown’s effort to stop human rights violations. There will be a reception with light refreshments following the speech. So come and join us as we SSTOP, THiNK, and STAND up for Human Rights!
