Ritmo nabs Seven Commitment to Diversity Nominations!
Ritmo y Sabor and three of its current members (and two past members) were honored, in total, with seven Commitment to Diversity Award nominations when they were announced Friday, April 14. The C2Ds are given annually by the Students of Color Alliance to organizations, faculty/administrators, artists, leaders, and seniors who promote diversity at Georgetown. In addition to being nominated for Outstanding Organization, Co-Directors Sarah Audelo and Shermica Farquhar each received a nomination for Outstanding Senior and Arthur Chan picked up a nom in the Arts category. Past members N. Rashad Jones and Jason Caraballo also received nominations. The winners will be announced Friday, April 21 at the Diaspora Multicultural Showcase at the Davis Performing Arts Center at 8 pm, where Ritmo is also performing. Congratulations Ritmo!
