M.E.Ch.A. (Movimiento Estudiantil Chican@ de Aztlán) de Georgetown is a student organization that provides a forum for the Georgetown community to explore Latin@ culture, community, and politics. We strive to be an open organization that welcomes members from all over the US, regardless of ethnic identification and political ideology.
Our goal is to educate others, and ourselves, on issues that are relevant to the Latino/Latina population across the United States and in DC. M.E.Ch.A de Georgetown’ main objective is to foster a sense of community that is rich in diversity and open to change. We are a family to our members and are always looking to expand and welcome new faces!
