EXECUTIVE BOARD 2009-2010
Name: Anna Selling
Position: President
School: McDonough School of Business
Year: 2010
Major: Management and Finance
Hometown: Park Forest, IL
This year is Anna’s fourth year in Hoya Blue and second year on the Executive Board. As president, she hopes to spread passion and support for Georgetown Athletics across the campus. As a passionate Hoya
basketball fan, Anna has many superstitions before games and spends most of the pre-game high-fiving each basketball player at least three times. Most people do not recognize her at games as she wears a blue wig, crazy socks, and paints an O on her stomach. Outside of Hoya Blue, Anna works in the sports information office at the athletic department as well as at Vital Vittles. She also works in the Collections Department at the Georgetown Credit Union. Anna not only loves Georgetown Athletics but is also obsessed with the Chicago Cubs and Green Bay Packers. Go Hoyas!!!!

Name: Jessica Bachler
Position: Treasurer
School: Nursing and Health Studies
Year: 2010
Major: Healthcare Management and Policy
Hometown: North Arlington, NJ
This will be Jessica's fourth and (tear) final year on the Hoya Blue Board, and her second year as treasurer. Jessica is eager to exert every last bit of Hoya-undergraduate spirit before becoming an alum. Jessica could not be more proud to call herself a Hoya and be a member of such a dedicated fan base. She hopes to accomplish much this year to ensure that Hoya spirit will never go away. Hoya Saxa!
Name: Matthew La Magna
Position: Events Officer
School: Walsh School of Foreign Service
Year: 2011
Major: International Politics
Hometown: Freehold, NJ This year is Matt's third year in Hoya Blue and first year on the
Executive Board. As Events Officer, his job is to plan road trips that allow Georgetown students to cheer on the Hoyas all across the country, ensure that cheer sheets before basketball games are witty and informative, and maintain an energetic atmosphere at all Hoya games. Much like another man from his hometown, Matt is "Born to Run" and has done so the best way he knows- taking road trips to see the Hoyas face opponents in cities such as Newark, New York City, Norfolk, Philadelphia, Raleigh, and Syracuse. He's looking forward to more road
trips this season and encountering some of the finest fans that the Big East and the rest of the nation have to offer.
Name: Margaret Massimo
Position: Hoya Blue Foundation Officer
Year: 2011
School: Georgetown College
Major: Psychology Minors: Government and Mathematics
Hometown: New York City, NY
This is Margaret's third year in Hoya Blue and first year as a member of the Hoya Blue Board. Playing three seasons of sports each year of grammar and high school, Margaret was still not athletically inclined enough to continue to play varsity in college. Instead, she decided to help the Hoyas on the sidelines, finding her niche among the gloriously ridiculous group of fans that are Hoya Blue. After seeing the difference that Hoya Blue Foundation could make with the help of the members of Hoya Blue alone, Margaret is hoping to expand the Foundation's projects to include members of other athletically related groups on campus. Margaret also plays for the club volleyball team, works for the mathematics department, is a member of Psi Chi and works remotely as an intern for a psychologist in New York.
Name: Sarah Kamenski
Position: Promotions Officer
School: Georgetown College
Year: 2010
Major: Sociology
Hometown: Mountain View, CA
This year is Sarah’s fourth year in Hoya Blue and first year on the Executive Board. Even before stepping foot onto Georgetown’s campus, Sarah’s passion for Georgetown athletics has been very apparent, as she was a member of the Georgetown Softball team for the past three years. Hoya Blue has been especially important to her because she has witnessed firsthand how fan support can influence the outcome of any game. She has also been a very dedicated basketball fan, waking up far too early to stand outside when it’s freezing (which is not an easy task for this west coaster) just to be in the front row of every game. For her senior year, she has taken on the promotions officer role, where she is coming up with new ways to promote the events that Hoya Blue are hosting and spreading the Hoya Spirit to the Georgetown community. She hopes that you will join her support the Hoyas this year and for years to come. HOYA SAXA!
Name: Jason Burke
Postion: Personnel Officer
Year: 2011
This is his third year in Hoya Blue and his first on the board. As Personel Officer, Jason is responsible for tracking the volunteer work done by Hoya Blue members and working with the athletic department to come up with awesome volunteer rewards. Originally from the suburbs of New Jersey, Jason has always loved sports. Since he wasn't quite cut out to continue playing in college, he kept his passion alive as a fan, supporting all georgetown sports.
Name: Kasper Statz Position: Communications Officer School: Georgetown College
Year: 2010
Major: History

Everywhere from the stands on North Kehoe Field to a remote village in Honduras, Kasper has found ways to follow and cheer on the Hoyas. As Communications Officer it’s his job to manage this website and the club's facebook and twitter pages and to write the emails that Hoya Blue members recieve every week.
